Early morning departs from Arusha town you will drive across a beautiful and scenic Masai Steppe to Makuyuni junction and take left along the Arusha to Dodoma Highway towards Tarangire National Park, a drive that will take only two hours at most. Arrive at the Parks gate at Tarangire and after your driver has sorted out the paperwork you start game drives almost straight away from the gate in a bid to see as many animals and birds as possible.
Tarangire is known for the two aspects, the large baobabs tree and the largest herd of the jumbos, but there is more to visiting the park than just that. The park hosts a lot of migratory big and small animals but also a lot of birdlife including some very rare and almost indigenous only to this park-like the Ashy Starlings, for example, other rare animals include, hartebeest, gazelles, elands, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, dik-diks, impalas, cheetahs, and others. Your professional guide will take you to the best wildlife-spotting areas of the park including the Tarangire River which is a permanent Manyara/ Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 : Tarangire To Serengeti
Location: Serengeti National Park

Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the Central Park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in Serengeti National Park your guide will take you to the best spots to observe the wildlife. Giraffes, zebras, elephants, buffalos, lions, topi, wildebeest, Grants and Thomson’s gazelles and many more can be seen in this large National Park. You will later on in the evening your guide will take you to Seronera in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.
Day 4 : Serengeti Full Day Game Drive
Location: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast enjoys a full day game drive in the park. The area around the Seronera area has good resident games throughout the year. Non-migration animals such as elephants, buffalo, gazelle, zebra, lion, leopard, and cheetah can be seen here all year round. The game viewing is very good and you can follow the game for long periods without seeing other vehicles – truly one of the forgotten corners of the Serengeti Plains. Magnificent riverine trees can be found along the river lines and bird species.
Day 5 : Serengeti Morning Game Drive To Ngorongoro
Location: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Accommodation: Camp, Lodge
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Today we have a Half Day of exploring wildlife around Serengeti which is the ideal location for marveling at the annual migration of large herds of animals at this time of the year. The Serengeti’s endless plains provide an exceptional landscape for wildlife viewing; it truly is the ultimate safari country. Often spotted in the Serengeti are wildebeest, elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, buffalos, and more wildlife. Then later leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro Conservation Area while you are having a game drive en-route towards Ngorongoro campsite for dinner and overnight. (An option of doing Hot Air Balloon is also in this area).
Day 6 : Ngorongoro Full-Day Tour Back To Arusha
Location: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Accommodation: Hotel
Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Early morning, we start the game drive before heading to Ngorongoro. Ngorongoro conservation area is a special place in that it is a conservation area, not a National Park, this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the Masai local people. During the drive-to Ngorongoro, we have the chance to glimpse something of the Masai way of life. After stopping at the entrance gate, where there is a chance to learn more about this fascinating volcanic landscape, we will drive around the Rim of the crater itself, and from there we can look down and see the herd of buffalos or wildebeest. Finally, we descend into the crater, the floor of the largest unbroken caldera in the world also called the Ngorongoro Crater.
Home to over 120 species of animals including the big five animals. Ngorongoro crater is one of the most sought, safari destinations in the world. It’s a particularly good area to see the endangered black rhinoceros enjoying the lonely meal out on the grass plains, as well as a place to see a larger number of hippopotamuses enjoying the cool water.
You will spend this whole day on the crater floor during game drives in search of animals that can be spotted at very close range, From the comfort of your vehicle, you will spot much wildlife. Picnic lunch will most likely be taken at the Hippo poolside Picnic site where you can also visit the washroom and then continue with game drives in the afternoon as you head out of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will later on in the afternoon drive up the Crater Rim and drive out of the park and your guide will take you to Arusha/ Moshi for overnight and preparation for departure.
